Inspired by Al-Khwarizmi’s groundbreaking contributions to algorithms, laying the foundation for modern computational sciences and artificial intelligence.

Objective

Students will explore the connection between Al-Khwarizmi’s pioneering algorithms and the core principles of artificial intelligence (AI). Using Medvation Hikmah-AI system, this workshop introduces students to machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), computer vision (CV), structural modeling, and large language models (LLMs). Through hands-on activities and AI tools, students will experience how Al-Khwarizmi’s legacy shapes today’s intelligent systems.

Algorithm Design: Understanding the mathematical principles behind ML, DL, and other AI models.
AI Fundamentals: Exploring supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP).
Computer Vision (CV): Learning how algorithms analyze and interpret visual data.
Large Language Models (LLMs): Exploring NLP to understand how AI interprets human language.
Model Building: Experimenting with AI models using Medvation Hikmah-AI system for real-world applications.
Problem-Solving and Creativity: Designing innovative AI solutions inspired by foundational algorithms.
